This was the first time I had heard these compositions. The sound quality is excellent.
The album looked good, but the pressing and/or vinyl condition was another story. I will looking for a cleaner copy of this one. It’s not perfect, but I still highly recommend it.
Those who prefer Ravel performed in the cool, dry manner will appreciate this recording. Duchable turns in elegant, nicely tapered readings of the two piano concertos, though the pianist brings more vitality to the G Major concerto than the D Major concerto for the left hand alone. This is pianism in the classically French style, light on the keys and slightly detached emotionally.
For this listener, however, pianist Aldo Ciccolini`s recording with Jean Martinon conducting the Orchestre de Paris has far more texture, color and atmosphere. These are vibrant scores, and their glinting colors must sparkle. – Howard Reich, chicagotribune.com

Note: As mentioned above, there was a LOT of surface noise on this album. You will hear pops, etc here and there. I did what I could without spending weeks on it.
