  1. With Mahler I keep coming back to Bernstein’s recordings with the NY Phil. but I’m always eager for other “views”. I don’t know these but the Concertgebouw is a treat and Mahler from vinyl is a dream only beaten by the live experience – I do believe it is near impossible to recreate that aural experience, the sheer force of a Mahler Symphony in full flight at home.
Thank you very much for this! Downloading now.

  2. Mr. Whatever,

This post is quite something. The Symphony in its heaviest, most extravagant and large form, performed by artists of the highest caliber, in vinyl! Pure delight. Thank you.

  3. Whatever, Thanks a lot for this post, I found that symphony No.2 downloads two file named Lp1 and LP2 and the cue. file does not work propertly, only showing first and fourth movements. Am I doing something wrong?
