It is a massive and complex sound stage that can not only be heard but also felt.

  1. you have no idea how happy I am to see new vinyl posts from you…..


    hope you had a good holiday. Oh, and by the way, I meant to tell you before you left, but you should be a bit careful when you do the covers with regards to exif data. Perhaps you’re aware, but the jpgs are all storing information such as your camera type (SONY DSLR-A350) and software (Photoshop CS3).

    Now, this isn’t too much of a problem at the minute, but be VERY careful to make sure your camera is not recording GPS position, else you could get a knock at the door…

    If you already knew all of this, then I apologise. Still, safer to delete the exif data. Safer still to use a scanner (and generally better quality).

    Anyway, it’s good to have you both back. Let the show commence!

  2. Missed this one first time around but won’t make the same mistake twice. First heard parts of this on my 5th birthday when I went to the cinema to see the original release of 2001 (my choice) as a treat. Many thanks for ripping and sharing.

Una delle prime,ottime registrazioni digitali CBS (a proposito, trovi anche tu che suonino molto meglio su lp che non su cd?), Mehta e NYPO ai bei tempi, il miglior R.Strauss (ogni estate passo sotto la targa che, in un paesino dell’alto Tirolo, ricorda i suoi soggiorni e capisco meglio come potesse concepire la sua musica in quel paesaggio di rara bellezza. Del resto Mahler andava poco lontano). Disco stupendo, grazie!
