Here is one of the great interpreters of this composer, although not as well known. Yes, many pianists play Chopin well, but listening to Vasary, you feel that he has found the soul of the composer in the music and expressed it. The technique is world class, so we don’t have to go into that. The Nocturnes especially showcase Vasary’s intrepretive talents on a modern piano. You feel as if you are standing next to the grand, top up, no digital cut-off of volume or overtones. This recording should be in the collection of all who love Chopin in spite of the cuts. Those new to Chopin’s music will find this an excellent introduction.

If You hear some clicks and pops here and there, Who cares?
Id rather have a few light anomalies instead of destroying the music.
Enjoy the music, not the ticks & pops.
I tend more and more, in the last time, to de-click with an automatic setting between 0.7 and 1.2 so you can say, my rips are like half rough rips.
- Software: iZotope RX 4 Advanced, Adobe Audition CS 5.5, Twisted Wave 1.9
- Very light de-clicking with iZotope, significant clicks manually removing, no de-noising
