  1. Is there any problem with these files?
I couldn’t burn this one and Reiner Zarathustra with Nero, because of some unknown problem(the file may be destroyed… so on).
    Other vinyl rippings are well.
Anyway always great thanks to both of you.

    • Hi…be sure: the files are OK. You can’t burn HD files, that are in flac format. You first have to convert them into wave format. Concerning Reiner’s Zara…maybe Nero is not able to burn files in 192 kHz. Toast Titanium can do this, but is only for mac. Try to convert these files from 192 into 96 or 44.1 kHz

    • Off course, I converted it into wave file.
It was successful. But during Nero burning, when I assemble the files, it appears ‘some damage to file…’ in dialog box.
And I couldn’t load that wave files on nero burning.
By the way, how can I convert 192kHz files to 96 kHz?

      • ok…but don’t trust Nero in every case; listen to the files first and they are damaged only if you hear this, not when Nero says this. BTW: the files are absolutely OK, downloaded by other users +100 times in 1 week – try to download again, without interruption. Sometimes interruptions causes a lot of errors.
You have to search on internet, i don’t know, if there is a possibility to convert 192 > 96 – this is the price you have to pay when people “plays” with microsoft instead of mac 🙂
If all bridges break down (so we say in my country :)) there is the “normal” version from the CD, here in this blog

  2. Hey dear Rach’ !

What would you say to re-rip this recording with your new RME Fireface? Not only am I saying that because this recording is fabulous (like always with Christian Ferras) but because the sound of it already outperforms its equivalent in CD, by far (to my hear, more than the other Ferras posts you made).

    Thank you again !

    • here also, all links are working fine. In future, make a distintion: is a “no-free-slots” issue or a “down-for-maintenance” issue? For the 1st buy an account. For the 2nd I could reup the involved parts.

  3. Thanks for this greate rip, the sound is great! However, I would like to point out that: The sound from the first three minutes of Mendelssohn 1st movement deviates to the left speaker, then everything is back to normal.

    • yeah, I hear what you mean, but I didn’t call it a problem. Is in the vinyl…Maybe Emi’s sound engeneers had a heavy and long night, before the recording? 😉

  4. Thank you very much! Great performance! Also, it is accurately re-channeled for stereo, nothing is lost! Unbeaten interpretations!
