HD-Vinyl 24/96 (Harmonia Mundi) Ludwig van Beethoven – Symphony No. 7 (Collegium Aureum)

Reposted, now with FF links
Collegium Aureum, led by its first fiddler Franzjosef Maier, was the Grandpa of all period instrument ensembles, way before it became a fashion. The Ensemble was founded in the early 1960s (between 1961 and 1963, sources differ), on the initiative of the music label Deutsche Harmonia Mundi, and, like the later ensembles, started with music of the 17th and 18th Century but slowly moved, in the late 1970s, into the 19th Century and early Romantic repertoire.
