If You hear some clicks and pops here and there, Who cares? Id rather have a few light anomalies instead of destroying the music. Enjoy the music, not the ticks & pops. I tend more and more, in the last time, to de-click with an automatic setting between 1.0 and 1.2 so you can say, my rips are like half rough rips.

  • Software: iZotope RX Advanced v2.02, Adobe Audition CS 5.5, Twisted Wave 1.9
  • Very light de-clicking with iZotope, significant clicks manually removing, no de-noising
  • DR-Analisys before converting to Flac
  • Converting Wave -> Flac: Twisted Wave 1.9
  • Artwork: Sony Alpha 350, Epson Perfection V750 Pro, Photoshop CS 5.5

  1. I just would like to REALLY thank you very much Rachmaninov.
I don’t have enough words in english to tell you how much I respect you.
I took a premium filefactory and I begin to listen some of your rips, they are simply marvellous.

MERCI, encore et encore, je te salue de France 🙂

  2. To my ears this is doubtlessly the best of this program in terms of both the interpretation and recording.
    Thanks Rach.
I feel so sad to see these great Maestros to leave us one after the other. It’s my immense luck to live in this world with you in the same time so I could at least be in the concerts you conducted. R.I.P.

  3. Unfortunately part1 is on the dreaded “s35” server and won’t successfully download. After three attempts it consistently reaches 390Mb and then stops with an “unknown network error” message.

    • works perfectly – DL time was 6 minutes (premium account)
I set this file for this only time as “shared” so you can DL as if you would have a premium account. Think about buying an account.

  4. Thanks for this. I love this piece of music, looking forward to hearing what LM makes of it. It can be tricky to bring off successfully.
