HD-Vinyls 24/96 (Philips) Volume 10 – EDIZIONE VIVALDI by Philips on 49 LPs

front_small_boxset10Box 10 with 8 LPs
This is a project I wanted to realize for my life and I started to buy the box-sets from all over the world. It took me around 3 years, because I wanted only Mint or NearMint box-sets. So 3 of them are Mint and never played, all the other are NM. The whole collection costed me almost 600 EUR…if you feel, you want to contribute to this Herakles-work, so you are welcome.

Ripping Info

If You hear some clicks and pops here and there, Who cares?
Id rather have a few light anomalies instead of destroying the music.
Enjoy the music, not the ticks & pops.
I tend more and more, in the last time, to de-click with an automatic setting between 0.7 and 1.2 so you can say, my rips are like half rough rips.

  • Software: iZotope RX 4 Advanced, Adobe Audition CS 5.5, Twisted Wave 1.9
  • Very light de-clicking with iZotope, significant clicks manually removing, no de-noising
  • DR-Analisys before converting to Flac
  • Converting Wave -> Flac: Twisted Wave 1.9
  • Artwork: Sony Alpha 350, Epson Perfection V750 Pro, Photoshop CS 5.5

If you like what i do, please consider that a little donation would be very appreciate.
I reinvest all donations in maintenance of my rig, for purchasing cleaning solutions and, most important of all, purchasing of new vinyls.

Click on the “Donate”-button. Thank you very much !

  1. Let me be the first to express my gratitude for this volume and the complete series.

    Many thanks!

  2. WOW!!!!
    thank you kindly:)

  3. This is really unparallelled in what you have achieved Rachmaninov!
There is nothing out there that even comes close in quality and quantity (obviously, since its complete 🙂 ) for Vivaldi lovers!

For now, I dont have a premium account sadly so I will have to wait with downloading. Needless to say I am REALLY looking forward to completing this amazing gift.

But let me tell you, for instance when listening to the four seasons from this set: After listening to the first movement of spring it BLEW ME AWAY so much that I immediately needed to listen to it AGAIN because of its sheer glory! And after having listened to it twice, I immediately had to listen to it A THIRD TIME (just the first movement!)!!

Thank you so much for this UNBELIEVABLE work 🙂 🙂

  4. Rachman this work you´ve done is like the Via Appia of music, a musical path that enables Vivaldi lovers to walk down it in amazement and enjoyment. This is a monument to the love for music and I cannot thank you enough!!

  5. Thank you a lot, Rach!

  6. Hats off to Mr. Rachmaninov!!! THANX ! THANX! THANX!

  7. Many thanks for an outstanding effort with a stunning result.

  8. Thank you for completing this fine set 🙂

    • Thank you for presenting Vivaldi’s set.
May be one day it will be possible and I’l be able to download it. For the life me I can’t get it why to subscribe and use FF.

  9. This No.10 is grandiloquent!
    The Juditha Triumphans is fabulous.
We all are forever in your debt.
    Thank you so much, Alf.

  10. Hi, Rach

When I unzip the archive, I got the following error:
CRC failed in encrypted file “Volume 10 … LP5 – B3 Domine Ad Adiuvandum Me R.593.flac.”

I tried to redownload the “96kAnViEdi49Phil_Vol10.part15.rar”, still got the same error.

    Thank you

    • part 15 is reuploading now – check again in 3-4 hours and if you see it twice, take the one with the newer date.

      • Just redownloaded, still got same CRC error while unzip.
I tried to play the flac, it worked at the beginning, but collapsed at 52”.

        Thank you

        • Tell me what to do…I don’t know. Otherwise I didn’t get this advice from any other man….after +300 DLs I think, the error must be on your side. My suggest. DL the whole box 10 again. Try not to dl automatically through jdl. JDls use to continue a dl that was interrupt and even this causes some CRC errors. DL every archive in a hit.

  11. thank you .great work.

  12. I download the full collection. Excellent work.
Thousands of thank you very much .
I will raise a glass of champagne in your honor.

  13. Tremendous — thank you.

  14. Wonderful series. Thank you!!!!! 🙂

  15. This is a monumental work Alf! Searching far and wide for the discs, ripping, uploading….
I don’t know where I will find the time to listen to Vivaldi CD’s, or hi-res digital files… It’s all here on beautiful vinyl !!
It is a Festival of Vivaldi 😀
