HD-Vinyl 96/24 (HM) Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – 2 Piano Concertos (KV 246 & 537 – Jörg Demus)

Reposted, now with FF links
It is a phrasing and articulation briliance that Mr. Demus brought up again to the audience. His marked, singing rubato in melody line still strong in acurate accompainment and right choose of tempos makes this performance remarcable and superior over many other that I’ve heard so far.

  2. burn without break (Pause = 0 sec.) between the tracks??? WHAT tracks??? Unpacking .rar files yields “side1.wav” and “side2.wav”, each comprising what I would normally think of as three tracks!

  3. I was a great admirer of demus at the beginning of his career, but when he switsched more and more to the fortepiano, his playing on a modern Piano lost on quality.
If possible, you should post his Schumann Cycle or his
    recordings with two pianos (Klien,Badura-Skoda).
    Best greetings Trottar

  4. Damn, Concert 26, almost the 25, my favourite lol!

    But great upload Rach!

BTW, you wouldn’t have the 23th concert would you?
There’s a very famous brazilian popular song called “Manhã de Carnaval” (Carnival’s Morning) which based it’s melody on the very beautiful melody from the 2nd mov. of this Mozart’s piano concert.

  5. To all collectors:Has anyone Bach’s WTC Part I or II or both parts played by Jörg Demus? Please tell it to Alf. Thanks in advance. Trottar

  6. This is an incredibly beautiful disc. I hadn’t heard it since it first came out. A real treasure. Thanks,.
