  1. Narcisco Yepes just can’t do wrong – and the same is true for you, Rachmaninov, with your tremendous work posting all these gems!

    Thank you!

  2. Thank you Rachmaninov!

May I ask a silly question? Have you ever ripped at 176 khz? How great is the sound quality difference? I never see rips that high and am just curious.

    • Hi Nick…all the rips i make since 3-4 weeks are in 192 Khz and 32 Bit….i just reduce to 96k24b in flac-format for the audience here, so that they don’t have to store monstrous big files 🙂
I let you imagine if the difference between 96/24 and 176/24/32 and 192/32 is audible or not.

BTW: the difference is really minimal and audible only with a really goooooood equipement.

BTW 2: 176 Khz is an unusual rate…never heard of this.

      • Oops, you are absolutely right. I meant 192 khz. I am glad to hear the difference is fairly minimal, a friend of mine was saying that it’s something very VAST, because a regular sound card can’t play it, etc.

Thanks again for all your work..I hope I can continue to see all the great things you post, the US government is starting to block sites left and right and it’s scary to think I might lose this place.

        Wish you all the best!

        • oh…you meant listening from the computer – sorry, i do really listen to music only from a (my) super equipement. That is what i wrote before: only with a good EQ you (maybe) hear some differencies – in my opinion, to want to hear differencies between the different formats – from the PC – is like playing Lotto…you know what i mean?

Best regards friend…i hope Mr. Barack discover his soul and heart for music and let you all good guys in peace – down to (musical) racism and dictature any kind

    • 1,don’t have to store monstrous big files 🙂
      2,44/16 is goooooood:)
3,Rachmaninov do really listen to music only from a (my) super equipement. 🙂

      I use ordinary equipment

        1 – don’t DL
2 – if you DL, convert yourself to 16/44
3 – open a HD-file in a music editor and you will see, is NOT 16/44
