Since being bitten by “the Mahler bug,” I’ve been doing a lot of research.
Just about everything I’ve read said that this is the best performance of Mahler’s 3rd Symphony. This is new music to me, so I can’t make any comparisons yet, But I will say this. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The performance is exciting and the sound quality is stunning. Very highly recommended.
