I was at the MET New York tonight!

Coming home back from the MET this evening…I saw/heard Anna Netrebko, Dolora Zajick, Yong Hoon Lee and Dmitri Hvorostovsky in Giuseppe Verdi’s IL TROVATORE!!!

Of course I was not in Big Apple, but in a large local cinema thater in my town…but it was anyway a great and exciting experience.

A very emotional moment was when Dmitri Hvorostovsky (Count Di Luna) made his entrance on stage; the audience applauded for long long time and he was overhelmed that he had to smile and bowed slightly. I thought: damn, I don’t know this baritone, but must be great if the MET audience do this. Only at home I discovered on internet, he’s on the road to recovery from a brain tumor.

People, a great evening, try to get it if you can and it’s offered in your town.

I will repeat this on 30th January 2016 with TURANDOT!
