   for using this channel. For those interested in analyzing William Kappel’s
   work and study his uniqueness in despizing lyricisms some times. (Emphasize his playng on the Khatchaturian Piano Concerto.)

    Fantastic site – I’m really grateful. I’d dearly like to find Shostakovich Symphonies 6 & 11 (Bournemouth SO / Paavo Berglund – CDS 7 47790 8). It was only available briefly in the late ’80′s on a premium price EMI 2 CD set. You can easily find Symphony 11 on a reissue with the Leningrad Symphony but No. 6 has never reappeared – and it’s wonderful…
