Ripping Infos

If You hear some clicks and pops here and there, Who cares?
Id rather have a few light anomalies instead of destroying the music.
Enjoy the music, not the ticks & pops.
I tend more and more, in the last time, to de-click with an automatic setting between 0.7 and 1.2 so you can say, my rips are like half rough rips.

  • Software: iZotope RX 4 Advanced, Adobe Audition CS 5.5, Twisted Wave 1.9
  • Very light de-clicking with iZotope, significant clicks manually removing, no de-noising
  • DR-Analisys before converting to Flac
  • Converting Wave -> Flac: Twisted Wave 1.9
  • Artwork: Sony Alpha 350, Epson Perfection V750 Pro, Photoshop CS 5.5

  1. Rachmaninov

I get error on extract part 6 about corrupt file.
I have downloaded from both sites and both give the same error.
The archive doesn’t contain any recovery records, so it can’t be repaired.

Could you verify this and upload a repaired version if it is indeed corrupted?

    Thank you

  2. I’m back up and running..
Just curious: FF does not have a link 6.
    Was it a lost cause?
Or is it still available and coming?
I consider myself a friend to you; OK?

    1. Hi Bob, always nice to “see” you 😉
All parts are there, enjoy….in the next days I reup the symphonies 5,6,7 (they still have empty HF links)

    1. You have to have patience…it can happen that a ner reuploaded part is tomorrow again not available…I cannot reupload parts of rips the whole day long.
Sorry….those FF issues must end, one fine day.

  3. Dear Rach,

Part 1, 2 and 4 is now back online but the files seems damaged with CRC errors. Redownload twice and it’s still the same problem. Can you please check?

  4. Thank you so much for the glorious service you offer us. My only complaint is that whenever I download a vinyl rip to my Macs (using different machines) I always find that something is corrupted. Sometimes I can assemble a whole record from different files, but not always.

    1. I’m sorry for this, but the erros, whatever it is, is on your side…never had such complaints from other DLers.
I can only suggest: don’t use JDL, DL directly from FF, DL in once, without breaks and continuing DLs…this causes often CCR errors.
