Oh friends, what a wonderful and delicate work Reposted, now with FF links Régine Crespin was an artist of sensitivity, breathtaking vocal effects and one who knew when to step offstage to spend the remainder of her luminous career teaching younger singer her craft. Gone 2007, aged 80, she’s still missed, but for those who treasure her memory, this recording is a must.
Reposted, now with FF links Like most Ansermet performances with his beloved Suisse Romande Orchestra, these 1957/59 readings are precise and well-articulated, engineered to perfection and captured in glorious golden-age stereo.

Got this marvellous London Blue Back for “an apple and an egg” somewhen from ebay – is ultra-expensive on Decca (SXL 2017) Due to few reported errors on unpacking the archives, I made new archives – if yours from May 2013 work well, you don’t need these new rars.
