Jeton was a great audiophile label from Germany. Behind the name Jeton stood the little but fine recordings studio “Tonstudio Bauer” from Ludwigsburg.
They made in the 70s and early 80s some of the best sounding records worldwide and these records are very very hard to find. But most of them you can find on CD (under the label BELL).
Under the most desirable records are, of course, the recordings of the “direct-to-disc”-Serie, that was very limited. The sound is great, non-spectacular, right warm, even closer to the reality.
Here comes Reinhold Friedrich performing 1980 works by Biber, Torelli, Corelli and Grossi.
I ripped accurately with a High-End turntable and pickup and tube-preamplier, eliminated some light scratches and noises professionally.
To preserve the full range of frequency and dimanics, the files are not compressed, are in WAV-Format, so you can directly burn, without log or cue.
