All thanks for this beauty go to Trottar
Paul Hindemith (16 November 1895 – 28 December 1963) was a German composer, violist, violinist, teacher and conductor. Notable compositions include his song cycle Das Marienleben (1923), Der Schwanendreher for Viola and Orchestra (1935), and opera Mathis der Maler (1938). Hindemith’s most popular work, both on record and in the concert hall, is probably the Symphonic Metamorphosis of Themes by Carl Maria von Weber, written in 1943.

front-small-boxset
Thank you Trottar for this another historical document
Gerhard Puchelt (born February 18, 1913 in Stettin, died August 27, 1987 in Berlin) was a German pianist. Puchelt studied from 1931 to 1935 at the Academy for Church and School Music with Else C. Kraus and Eduard Erdmann as well as at the Friedrich Wilhelms University in Berlin. He then worked as a concert pianist and accompanist of famous singers, instrumentalists and chamber music ensembles. After the Second World War, he continued his career as a piano virtuoso, and in September 1945 he was already performing for the first time with the Berliner Philharmoniker (Schumann, Klavierkonzert op. 54). In 1949 he was appointed professor for piano at the Academy of Music Berlin-Charlottenburg and remained in this function until 1978.
