HD-Vinyl 24/96 (Philips) Milko Kelmen – Composé, Floréal, Changeant, Hommage á Heinrich Schütz, Surprise (Alfons & Alois Kontarsky)

The Kontarsky Brothers for my friend Trottar
“Hommage à Heinrich Schütz,” a choral work written in 1964, was inspired by study of motels by Schütz. The basic idea of the composition is the evolution from speech sounds to mixtures of sung tone organized vertically and horizontally, and back again to the wide spectrum of sound produced by whispering.

HD-Vinyls 24/96 (DGG) Rachmaninov – Paganini-Rhapsody – Tcherepnin – 10 Bagatelles – Weber – Concert Piece (Weber/Fricsay)

front-small-boxset Many thanks to our friend Jean-Luc for this rarity
Undoubtly, the shining star of this recording is the Paganini-Rhapsody, a masterpiece composed by the greatest pianist the world ever saw and whose name I have the honor to use as avatar. A great discovery also was for me is Margrit Weber, a pianist I never heard before.
Also great to have some work by the little known composer Alexander Tcherepnin.
