HD-Vinyls 96/24 (DGG) Hector Berlioz – La Damnation De Faust (Ozawa)

As a lover of Berlioz’ music I have heard countless performances of this amazing work both live and on records. I think that on balance this is possibly the finest account on record to date. Firstly Ozawa is a great conductor and I find his conducting of Berlioz to be among the very best, every bit the equal of Sir Colin Davis, Charles Munch or Charles Dutoit, all experts in this field.
