please tell me what all the complaining is about the D’Oro release of this mythic night at La Scala????? Anyone that is familiar with “pirate” live sound will not be put off on this wonderful issue…..the sound is exactly as one would expect from a 1950’s live, radio broadcast from the Scala……amazing singing from the finest artist of the 20th century…..singing…music….acting….THEATRE at its finest the likes of which just do not exist in our ordinary Rene Fleming world……just shut your eyes & listen to the molten, classical sounds that pour out of La Divina at one of her peak moments in her artistry
